Advice for Talking to Emo Boys
Even Emo girls sometimes aren’t sure the best way to strike up a conversation with an Emo boy. So here are some suggestions: 1) Don’t be too overbearing. Emo boys don’t like you to be too aggressive in trying to talk to him. Instead, give him a bit of space and don’t be “clingy.” 2) Keep conversations short and sweet. If you talk a lot, especially about yourself, you’ll just bore him or worse, annoy him. 3) Compliment him, especially for his Emo style. This means to notice his new shirt or the new way he’s got his hair done. Everyone likes a compliment, and an Emo boy especially likes to be complimented on his style sense. 4) If you’re not into the Emo culture yourself, do some research on the culture first before you try to strike up a relationship with him.
